SVdP Selling 50/50 Raffle Tickets

Pantry is selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each. Drawing to be held July 13th at the pantry. We will be selling tickets at the businesses below:

June 19th – Farmer’s Market 8:00 – 12:00, June 26th – Wal Mart 9:00 – 3:00, July 3rd – Farmer’s Market 8:00 – 12:00, July 10th – County Market 9:00 – 3:00, Also at the SVdP pantry during their working hours.

Assisting Families in May

For the month of May, SVdP assisted 143 families with food. It consists of 247 adults and 75 children for a total of 322. We helped 27 families with financial aid. This could be in areas of rent, utilities, gas, medications, and motels.

Assisting Families In February

SVdP assisted 127 families with food. A total of 412 consisting of 301 adults and 111 children. Financial aid was given to 41 families in the area of rent, utilities, gas, motel and prescriptions. SVdP would like to thank Whiteside communities for their support and generosity.

SVdP Helping Families In January

In January SVdP assisted 125 families with food. There were 231 adults and 116 children, a total of 347. Financial aid was given to 15 families in the areas of utilities, gas, motel and prescriptions. Thank You to Sterling/Rock Falls community for their generosity.

HELPING FAMILIES IN DECEMBER

For the month of December SVdP helped 259 families with food. This was made up of 690 individuals – 465 adults and 225 children that were fed. With financial aid we helped 44 families. This could be in the help of rent, prescriptions, and utility bills. We would like to Thank all who donated food, wreaths and money to go towards the families. God Bless You.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

St. Vincent de Paul Society wishes everyone a blessed Christmas and a safe healthy New Year.

The pantry WILL BE OPEN on Christmas Eve – Thursday December 24 and New Year’s Eve -December 31.

Closed on Christmas Day – December 25 and New Year’s Day – January 1, 2021.

Regular hours will resume on Monday January 4, 2021.

FAMILIES HELPED IN NOVEMBER

During this Advent season it is time for us to share our blessings with those less fortunate. Through your generosity, SVdP was able to distribute food to 203 families. Which fed 675 individuals. Assisted 38 families in financial aid in rent, prescriptions and utility bills. Thank you so much.
